Sunday Morning

Sunday mornings in the Philippines are very quiet and peaceful. It is a holy day of obligation for most Christians, so you'll find most of them at church.

Some people go because it is an obligation; now whether or not they pay attention to the readings and the homily is a whole other subject. But if you have an awesome priest, one who keeps the congregation engaged and entertained, you're bound to listen and pray with him.

But if you're a sucker like yours truly, you can't help but focus on this little guy.

Apparently, even the cool priest can't help but gather the children to him.

One perk of Mass is meeting friends and neighbors afterwards.

And as Padre Lito says, inig ka-human sa misa, diritsu sa lamisa!

After the mass, it's straight to the table. In this case, a mouth watering breakfast of buwad, dried fish.

God is great!
