Happy Brithday to Dr. J

I have known Dr. J for a long time. We're not blood related, but we might as well be. He is always at our house, at home. And whenever we need a doctor, he's always there. January is Dr. J's birth month as well. [See Happy Birthday to Me.]

His guests were his "family".

Dr. J is an avid photographer.

And a musician.

He plays mostly rock n' roll, AND sings!

In fact, he plays in a band.

Back to the party...

A birthday party is not proper without pancit. The long noodle symbolizing long life.

Crispy pata.

Ribs.

Fried chicken.

And for the kids with a picky palate, pizza from Lei Side.

*Heh heh heh... Do you think these celebs eat crispy pata?*

*It's all right to eat all the fried chicken I want... because I'm not eating any rice.*

Miko's Dad is not a discriminatory eater. He'll eat rice AND crispy pata, AND fried chicken, AND pizza!

Neither is Paolo, The Baker.

With bellies full, and veins pumping with liquid courage - that's alcohol, for those of you who aren't familiar with the term...

Mr. White, on the other hand, doesn't need liquid courage to sing his heart out. He must be really in love.

So long as there is plenty of beer and peanuts, the singing will go on.

Because it's Dr. J's birthday.
